I ultimately had to hire a second HVAC company, which identified and corrected the issue, resulting in additional out-of-pocket expenses for me.
  I provided AirHeads with documentation and evidence supporting what the second technician found and requested a partial refund for the service that I believe, with accompanying before and after factual evidence, was performed improperly. Unfortunately, they declined to issue any refund and did not acknowledge the evidence I presented. Nor did they seem at all concerned that the tech made mistakes. The fault was entirely put on me, the customer.
  In the end, I paid for the original service, higher electrical bills, and a second repair to fix the problem. That was very disappointing, especially since the evidence was presented to their management team and they completely dismissed it without a glance or dare. I gave them a chance to rectify the issue before leaving a review.
  I can only speak to my own experience, but based on how this situation was handled, I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

I started having a problem with it I called Air heads out. The technician came out. Sprayed … More the air conditioning hose over the air conditioner with a water hose for 10 minutes and charged me 150 dollars. They call that cleaning a condenser. Which is not handled underneath the warranty. I still had the same problem after he left. They had to come out a second trip, they finally fixed it. They sent me an invoice showing that $150 had a zero balance and then they sent me a new invoice showing a $95 payment. Then they called me up and asked me for $150. I wish I would’ve never went with them with both of my air-conditioning units. I spent almost $10,000 with them they treated me very poorly. The warranty is not even worth the paper that it’s printed on. Very poor customer service when speaking to Alicia in the office. I paid the 150 dollars. Due to the fact that they care more about the money then the customers. Chris is the owner. He’s the one that sold me the two units . I really thought that he was a stand up guy I guess I was wrong. I hope this helps somebody. very disappointed with this company.

  I sit here typing this as I sit in a home that is currently at 79 degrees and climbing.
  Unit was installed on 11/15/24, with the understanding that I would be covered under Airheads 10 year parts, labor, maintenance. I was also told they … More would be available 24/7. I spoke to several companies before I was made to feel comfortable that I would be taken care of in the long run. The first issue came on 7/31/25. Their tech came out and said the coils were a little dirty and the freon was low so he added refrigerant and I would be good to go. No mention of a cost since I was covered for the call on their warranty.
  On Saturday 8/2/25 the system shut off again and I began reaching at about 8pm to no response. I left 3 messages with the hopes of call back. Nothing. The thermostat read as high as 91. They reached out the following day at around 7am and when I asked about a call back they said something to the effect of that they were tied up. They came out on 8/3 and their rep told me that their is a possibility that their is a leak because the refrigerant is low and he’s going to insert a dye to attempt to locate the leak. He also mentioned that the units so come with issues at times, even brand new, and there is no way to determine this when installing them. How do you not have measures in place to avoid this? The rep topped off the refrigerant and said if the unit does the same thing to go ahead and call and they will come out.
  On 8/6/25 the unit once again shut off and the temperature started to rise. I called and they were able to come out and determine that there was, in fact, a leak and that they would need to order a new coil as it is spilling refrigerant everywhere. The tech placed the order for the new coil and told me it would be 2-3 business days and they would come out to replace it. In the meantime, he refilled the refrigerant and said it’ll run out again so just make sure to call us and we will top it off for you both problem.
  Tonight, 8/9/25, the system has once again shut off. I called and explained my situation to the rep by the name of Misty and was put on hold for the majority of the 50 minute phone call. When Misty finally had an answer for me I was informed that the refrigerant top off is not covered and that I need to come out of pocket to have it topped off (mind you, my system is still actively leaking) as top offs are not covered under their perfect 10 warranty. I explained my situation and the fact that the unit isn’t even a year old and she continued to repeat that it was not covered. I explained how I am waiting on a part and can not control that I was sold a faulty system that is leaking and continued to tell me that it does not matter and I need to pay for a top off as the last 3 times were a courtesy. Again, none of this was mentioned the prior 3 times. I asked for a supervisor/manager several times and she continued to cut me off to remind me that I am not covered and ignored my request to speak to someone else. Misty was rude, lacked empathy, and did not seemed to be bothered that I have two children under 4 sleeping in a home with a leaking A/C unit. She refused to schedule anyone to come to my home unless I was willing to come out of pocket to refill an actively leaking unit and that I would just need to wait until Monday with my broken unit to speak to Felicia, the manager. I asked her to please schedule someone as I cannot have my children living in a 90 degree home. The lack of empathy was astounding.
  I sit here, waiting for a tech, hoping that they’re going to take care of me as I continue to wait for a part on a unit less than 1 year old.

  Back in April, our AC unit stopped working, so we called this company to check it out. They told us the unit was over 10 years old, out of warranty, … More and would cost thousands to repair. They recommended replacing it with a brand new unit for around $7,000, which came with a 10-year warranty.
  When the installers came, they said the unit they were instructed to bring was too small for our home and had to come back with the correct size. I will say they at least honored the original price we agreed on and didn’t try to charge more. However, the fact that they brought the wrong unit in the first place suggests someone there is clearly incompetent. At the time, it felt like no big deal because people make mistakes and it worked out well for us.
  The new unit was installed on April 28th. Fast forward two months, and our brand new AC is no longer keeping the house cool during the hottest part of the day. By 4 p.m., it reaches 79°–80° inside. Over the past two weeks, I’ve scheduled multiple service calls to figure out what’s going on. Each time, they did minimal maintenance and told me the same thing: “It’s just really hot out this summer.” Really? It’s hot out every summer. We’ve lived in this house for five years, and our old AC never had any problem cooling down the house even when temps reached 100°.
  At the most recent visit, they changed their tune and said the problem is our house. Apparently, they now believe we need more return vents to keep the house cool and quoted us $1,800 to install more. Again, our house has never had an issue staying cool before, so why is that suddenly a problem now? They’re out of their minds if they think I’m giving them another nearly $2,000.
  And then this morning, I woke up feeling a little hot. I checked the thermostat and it was set to 72°, but the house was at 76°, and so was the outside temperature. So what’s the excuse now? It’s not even during the peak heat of the day.
  If I could go back in time, I would’ve just spent the money repairing our old unit. Clearly, the units they are selling are garbage.

  I'm not usually the type to leave reviews, but after exhausting every attempt to resolve this privately, I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision.
  I hired this company after my original contractor … More took the money and vanished, leaving an oversized and incomplete AC system. I was drawn to this company because of their strong reviews, and initially, things looked promising. I met the owner on-site, and we agreed (with a handshake) that the work would be billed hourly, as the full scope wasn’t yet clear.
  Shortly after, I received a quote for $7,106 to complete the trim work — grills, thermostats, dampers, exhausts, etc. (Note: this was new construction, with units, lines, and power already in place.) I felt the price was high but agreed to proceed.
  When the work was done, I was immediately invoiced and pressured to pay that same day. I responded that I'd pay once the work passed inspection — a pretty standard expectation. They insisted on immediate payment. The next day, the system failed inspection. The inspector warned me that the single-wall dryer vent they used in place of proper furnace exhaust could pose a serious fire hazard. (See attached photos) The venting didn’t fit and was crudely ripped top of the unit, damaging the air handler. Other issues included missing screws, non-UV-rated exterior insulation, and unlabeled units — things a professional crew should not overlook.
  They did return, addressed the inspector’s concerns, passed inspection, and I paid in full. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there.
  When the gas company came to hook up the gas, they identified multiple safety and workmanship issues:
  Exhaust pipes were not secured, simply resting on the units
  Unsealed holes leaking airflow
  Thermostat placed directly under the dump vent, which causes it to misread temps due to direct cold air blowing on it
  I’ve since called the company multiple times. Each time, I’m told someone will get back to me. That return call never came.
  I’m not an HVAC pro, just a homeowner trying to get a job done right — and willing to pay fair retail price for quality work. Sadly, my experience didn’t reflect that.
  This is just my story — maybe yours will be different. But I wish someone had shared a review like this before I made my decision.

Started to say the tech checked the outside and inside units to identify any potential leaks in the system, however once I checked security cameras I came to find out the tech was only on site for 6 minutes and definitely did not enter the home.
  I requested to speak to the office manager who was less than helpful as well so I requested a call from the owner and was told I would get a call and here it is another 2-3 weeks later and no call.
  I wonder how many people pay for service only to have it not be performed or performed incorrectly.
  I would highly recommend being careful with hiring this company to do any sort of work based on the standards that I observed.

  I was present the day the air conditioning system was installed by Airheads at my grandson’s home. Cold air was blowing and we believed everything was good. Wrong! Since he and his wife were not moved back in while they were repairing damage … More sustained during hurricane Helene, we left for the evening. Upon returning in the morning, we found water leaking steadily from the air handler in the attic. The pipe was installed above the attic access hatch. Not only did it make accessing the attic next to impossible but closing the hatch caused damage, causing the leak. In the process, the garage ceiling sustained damage. Airheads was called immediately and a different technician was sent. Adam was able to correct the problem with the air handler and made a note of the damage in the garage. He claimed that he has had to fix a number of installations by this particular crew. The problem that remains is the damage caused by the faulty installation has not been repaired. A drywall person came by but he claims that the ceiling must have flooded in the storm. That’s not what FEMA found! A business that is licensed and insured is responsible to correct all damage caused by its technicians. Hopefully, Airheads will meet their responsibility asap.

I work for the local … More fire department and with all the chaos of the recent hurricanes I haven’t been home much, so my wife and I took the kids out of school for the day to enjoy Disney and some family time. After a full day in, the still surprisingly hot November, we got home and our daughter noticed the house was really hot. 7pm and the house was 80 degrees. Having a little knowledge I started checking our AC unit and the compressor was frozen and the condenser A Coil was frozen. This was way out of my DIY capabilities. We called Airheads and Stephanie quickly dispatched Adam to our house that night. Adam (a veteran still serving his community on Veterans Day) diagnosed our problem, the blower motor, and found what had cause the issue, insulation sucking into the fan. He took our blower motor apart cleaned it installed a new motor and had us up and running before my normal bedtime. What could have been a disastrous end, was saved by Airheads. They deserve above a 5 star rating for service.

  Tim was fantastic—knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly efficient. After diagnosing the issue, he determined we needed a capacitor kit, and luckily, he had the part right on his truck. Within less than two hours of our initial call, our system was up and running again! Although we didn’t purchase the Goodman system from Airheads in 2020, they honored the parts warranty, and our total cost was just $95 for labor and the service call. Plus, there was no after-hours fee, which was a huge relief.
  As respected realtors in the community, we will not hesitate to recommend Airheads to our clients and will certainly be adding them to our preferred vendor list. Their prompt, professional, and affordable service exceeded all expectations. After considering my options I went with replacing the unit as you don't put a band aide on a broken leg.
  They scheduled the install for Tuesday between 10:00-12:00 and I was pleased to see the men roll up right on time. Since the handler was in the attic it was a tricky install, but these guys are pros and had it sorted out by 2:00 same day.
  After they were finished, they made sure I understood how everything worked and went over when and where to replace the critical filters, this was done after they had cleaned up the entire work area and made sure there were no nails or screws on my driveway. ICE COLD AIR again!!
  The installers were very professional and approachable keeping me in the loop during the entire operation. Truth be told, everyone there was-from the first return call Saturday to scheduling to letting me know when they were going to arrive to do the job very professional and pleasant to work with.
  If there were more than 5 stars I would have checked them all!!

  You can't beat their warranty. 10 years parts, labor and maintenance! These guys were the 3rd company I called for a quote. One of the companies I couldn't even get an estimate over the phone which tells me it's a sales pitch. … More I hate sales pitches. Airheads gave me a quote for just a unit which was thousands under both under my other quotes. I got a larger unit because of an add on before I bought the house and they never added the tonage to compensate for the added space. I also wanted 2 vents added. Their in house financing was pretty simple. Their website isn't exactly user friendly but they were in constant communication with me via email. I had a contractor come out to inspect everything and they told me exactly what I needed to get my house working right. And only what I needed! I ended up getting 4 air intake vents and 2 new vents added, new larger ducting that are well insulated and a new 5 ton unit for $200 more than the other quotes which were just the 5 ton unit. I was out of town for a few days with the family when my installation happened. I had a neighbor let them in. These guys were very professional in everything they did. There was minimal dust and debris leftover. They covered everything they needed to with plastic to prevent dust getting in to things. I was extremely impressed with the cost and professionalism of these Air Heads! Lol. I highly recommend.

While our unit was fine it was discovered a broken elbow in our drain pipe line- in which our drywall was wet and inside was completely saturated. Unbelievable what was done inside the unit from the initial install. “The Good Bob” went above and beyond, he didn’t give up after the first cut out of the drywall… he did have to continue to cut to get to the root of the problem. He did locate the broken elbow and fixed it. He was HONEST and upfront that drywall isn’t his area of work and we’d have to fix that.. we appreciate that! It’s always best to be honest and upfront.. that’s the type of people we are. As long as you’re honest and upfront- we can work with you. Airheads also had 2 other employees come out - Logan and Thomas both were professional and honest! Logan said we didn’t need duct cleaning! He could have easily said we did and did an unnecessary cleaning. Thomas when we told him about the standing water in the garage- he literally was upfront and said he needed to talk with someone because he didn’t know what to do or where it was coming from.   The installation by Steve and Parker was smooth and efficient. It was a difficult install but they worked hard to ensure everything was installed and functioning correctly. The workmanship was excellent and they paid attention to even the smallest details. They cleaned up spotlessly and guaranteed our satisfaction. Dave handled the final inspection with the county and the inspection was flawless.
  On top of the best price, the unit came with a 10 year parts and labor warranty and a free annual inspection for 10 years.

Our usual service company for our 2017 AC unit told us our vents were bad … More and needed to be replaced for $20K but said they could do a thorough cleaning for $6K as a "temporary bandaid". We panicked and decided to call Airheads to have them come out for a second opinion and have them clean out the ducts.
  Logan arrived on time, got right to work and after opening a few vents he snapped some photos and came to us to explain our ducts were perfectly clean and in great condition. He told us he could check the others on the other side of the house but that we didn't even need a cleaning and he didn't want to waste our money if we didn't need a cleaning. Not only were we grateful that he was considerate like that but we were super happy that our other service was wrong and we didn't need an expensive repair.
  After all was said and done what we expected to be a $500 job was only $158 and that was because we had him clean our dryer vent since he was here anyway and wanted to give him the business.
  Amazing company that stands by their promise of "A company you can trust for all your HVAC needs with prices you can afford!" We will be calling them for all our HVAC needs going forward. Thank you Airheads.
